Linda Reksten has focused on practical work that helps Lake County communities—bringing local leaders together, helping secure resources, and making sure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly.

Local Leadership & Community Results

  • Convened monthly coordination meetings with County Commissioners and local legislators

  • Worked with the Polson City Manager, County Commissioners, and CSKT alongside the Montana Department of Transportation

  • Assisted the Lake County Department on Aging during a budget shortfall

  • Partnered with the Greater Polson Community Foundation to help raise funds for community projects

  • Helped the Museum of America secure $89,000 to rebuild a barn after a fire

  • Secured permanent funding through the Coal Severance Tax Fund for:

    • Conservation Districts, and

    • Facility funding for Lake County school districts
